You need to listen

Maybe I need this.
Maybe this is not me running away from the problem,
but rather me admitting that there is a problem and embracing it.

The problem with you is you don't listen.
I tell you things because I want you to be a part of my life.
I tell you things because I want you to understand my world.

But you don't fucking listen.
You don't fucking care.
You only want me to listen to your life.
You only want me to understand your world.

I am so sick of this damn shit. 
I am so sick of being so fucking selfless,
So fucking sick of putting everyone first but
I'm only their fucking option.

Maybe I need this.
Maybe if I go away for awhile,
things might change.

But even if it doesn't,
it probably didn't matter.
